Taste and See – An Invitation to Read the Bible

Published by on . Closed

Annabel Robinson is publications manager for Scripture Union, Canada. A graduate of Oxford, she recently retired from teaching at the University of Regina where she was recognized with an appointment as Professor Emerita of Classics. Because of the benefit that personal Bible reading and reflection have contributed to her own life, she has a passion to encourage others to engage with God’s word. As she notes in her introduction to Taste and See “The Bible is a book that has changed the lives of many people, and gives hope, encouragement and direction to millions.” Her publication “provides an overview of the main Bible story, identifies key themes in the Bible, asks questions to open doors of discovery, and encourages the reader to take the first steps in a spiritual pilgrimage.”

We have posted a link to a free download of this publication that you might use personally or give to someone who has shown some interest in exploring the story expressed in the Bible. We recommend it as “an interpretative prequel to the Bible.”
